On November 28, 2024, the Erasmus+ project "EdAccession: Education System Change with EU-Accession" hosted a successful online workshop titled “Skills and Competencies of the 21st Century Workforce”. The event, conducted via an online platform, brought together students, educators, and professionals from various countries to explore essential skills for the modern workforce. 


Highlights of the Event

Participants had the opportunity to: 

- Gain insights into updating educational courses to meet current industrial demands. 

- Understand the importance of key skills and competencies needed for career success in the 21st century. 

- Engage with a distinguished panel of experts who shared their knowledge and experiences.

What Made This Workshop Stand Out? The discussions covered a range of topics, from emerging industrial trends to sustainable skills development. Participants explored the significance of aligning educational programs with contemporary business needs and received actionable advice on integrating these insights into their academic and professional journeys. The event also provided a platform for meaningful interactions between students and experts, creating a dynamic space for exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration.


Results: The workshop concluded with overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, highlighting the value of expert-led discussions and practical recommendations. Many participants appreciated the focus on future-oriented skills, as well as the free access to a European certificate in education development. This event marked another milestone in the EdAccession project, furthering its mission to prepare students from Ukraine and Moldova for integration into the European academic and professional landscape. It underscored the project's commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and readiness for the challenges of the future.
